Homemade Butter

I followed this simple recipe and made delicious homemade lightly salted butter. I don't think I will ever buy it in stick form again. The taste is fresh and light! Try it for yourself and let me know how you like it. I put some on a biscuit with some of my homemade strawberry jam!

Muy delicioso!!

1 pint of whipping cream.

Put it in the processor until the butter separated from the milk. Processed about 7 minutes.

Homemade buttermilk!!! I will make some more biscuits with this goodness! I drained the buttermilk into a separate bowl.

Final products. Buttermilk and butter. It's so good and let me not forget way cheaper than buying sticks of butter!

Enjoy....xoxo,
Ronita

I had freshly made butter on a field trip to a farm back in elementary school. I STILL remember how light and yummy it was--and you know that was a looooong time ago. Great idea!
