I had the best Mother's Day!!
After a long day prior preparing and hosting my Roman's 2nd birthday party (photos to come) I managed to have a relaxed yet super eventful day.
I started the morning by opening up my cards and gifts from the boys...handmade beaded jewelry they made at their sitter's...YES I even wore them to work TODAY!!
I invited my mom over and cooked a spectacular breakfast.
Menu:
spinach eggs
cinnamon apples
turkey bacon
potato cakes
fresh fruit salad: watermelon, mango, and strawberries
biscuits
We napped, I cleaned a little, and then my mom had a special surprise for the evening!!

THE WIZ!!!!
It was absolutely amazing and brought back so many fun childhood memories!!
When I finally got home, the kids were asleep, and my hubby prepared a super delicious dinner: boiled Alaskan king crab legs and shrimp scampi pasta!!! Ohhh..it was wrong to eat that late at night but super delicious!!
He even gave me a little gift!!
I can't wait to get this baby up and running!!

Very nice dinner. I didn’t know Scottie is such a creative cook. I wonder where he got that from!!
