{Cincy Chic's 2012 Red, Pink and Blue Fashion Show }

 Saturday, Cincy Chic put on their annual Red, Pink and Blue Fashion Show benefiting 3 amazing organizations, the American Heart Association, Pink Ribbon Girls and the Diabetes Association. The show began with a welcome from Amy Scalia and a great ceremony honoring 3 local survivors.

We supported the BLUE because it hits so close to home.

The weather was warm and breezy and the music was just right.

Top Gun: Flying High!!!

Let me just say I love Groupon.

As a Father's Day gift the boys and I gave the hubby a chance to fly a plane!!! It's something he has always wanted to do and I guess he says it was on his bucket list!!

Well when I checked my e-mail one May morning there it was, his chance.

He LOVED it and I think I started something. He says it's one of his new hobbies!!

He now wants to work to get his pilot's licence...goodness

Cincinnati's very first Fashion Week .....April 2010!!!

I was so pleased to open my inbox and discover this wonderful article from Cincy Chic (an online publication for Women in the Cincinnati area) waiting for me... Go for the Gold

Fashion week comes to Cincinnati written by Linda Palacios.

An excerpt:

"Throughout the entire week, Cincinnati Fashion Week will give Cincinnatians something to be excited about. Not only will the event provide an economic boost, it will give fashionistas (and fashionistos) a chance to show off their talent and work with like-minded designers. "Fashion hasn't been a focus in Cincinnati, so there was never really a channel for everyone to get out in the open and meet each other," Hurst says. Times are changing.

I am so excited for April to get here. I'm like a kid at Christmas!!!
